Kristen obtained her Associates Degree in Science/Nursing at Asheville-Buncombe Technical College in 2006.  She first worked inpatient Oncology/Cardiology in Asheville, NC, until her family moved to the Augusta area.  She has since worked in Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and Primary Care as an RN, before eventually returning to her first love, Oncology. Kristen worked as an RN at AO Multispecialty Clinic while she completed her graduate degree program and obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner through Walden University.  She transitioned to the Nurse Practitioner role at AO Multispecialty Clinic in May 2020.

Kristen is married with four children: three boys and one girl.  They have a hobby farm with a small herd of both dairy and meat goats, in addition to their cat and three Great Danes.  Kristen loves to be outdoors, and when she is not at work, you can usually find her with her family, working on their farm.
