Dr. John Stewart is a board-certified radiation oncologist with a strong commitment to delivering thoughtful, personalized care to individuals facing cancer. He joined AO Multispecialty Clinic’s Radiation Oncology team in 2025, practicing at our leading-edge Cancer Care Center in North Augusta.

As a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Stewart completed his internship in internal medicine through the HCA Healthcare/Mercer University program at Memorial Health University Medical Center. He then went on to complete his residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Alabama Medical Center, where he trained extensively in advanced radiation techniques and cancer treatment planning.

Dr. Stewart has experience treating a wide range of cancers, with special clinical interest in lung cancer, metastatic disease of the respiratory system, and prostate cancer. He believes in building trust through clear communication and empathy, taking time to ensure his patients feel informed and supported throughout their care.
