Dr. Nathan Tidwell is a board-certified hematologist and oncologist who is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care. He takes pride in walking alongside patients and their families through every stage of diagnosis and treatment, ensuring they feel supported and understood.

Dr. Tidwell earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in Missouri after completing his undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science at Brigham Young University. He went on to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia, followed by a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Before joining AO Multispecialty Clinic in 2025, Dr. Tidwell served in the United States Army Medical Corps, where he rose to the rank of Major and led the Hematology/Oncology department at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. His military career gave him the opportunity to care for service members, retirees, and their families, and he carries that same dedication into his civilian practice.

Dr. Tidwell is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology, and he is a member of both the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. His patients have recognized him for excellence in care, including receiving a 100% patient satisfaction rating in 2021.

Dr. Tidwell is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to his patients and helping his patients feel confident, hopeful, and cared for throughout their journey.
