Katie Harrison Chaknis, PA-C joined the AOMSC team in July 2022. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a bachelor of science in Health Promotion. She went on to earn her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Augusta University in 2021, where she was also an Alpha Eta member. She is certified under the NCCPA.

Katie lives in Augusta with her husband, John, and two dogs – Sherlock and Watson. She has a passion for caregiving and loves working in oncology. When she is not tending to patients, she enjoys reading and coaching local gymnastics groups.
