Marie pursued an unconventional path to medicine, initially earning a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2013. However, driven by a desire to directly contribute to the well-being of others, she transitioned to the healthcare field, earning her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from Charleston Southern University in 2020.

During her time at Charleston Southern University, Marie demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and commitment to her profession by serving as a prominent figure in student leadership and being elected as the school’s representative for the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). With three years of experience specializing in Infectious Disease, Marie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her patients. She is adept at diagnosing and treating a wide range of infectious conditions, providing compassionate care while also staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field. She is a board-certified physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Outside of the office, Marie enjoys exploring new destinations through travel, both domestically and abroad. Additionally, she is an avid fan of Taylor Swift, having attended her concerts for over 15 years. This passion for music and travel reflects her vibrant personality and zest for life.

Marie is excited to continue her journey in healthcare by delivering high-quality care and building meaningful connections with her patients every step of the way.
